My awesomely CHEAP new sunglasses

I have recently lost three pair of my sunglasses, the final pair being torn apart by my two year old Miss Diva. I can't live without them and rushed with hubby to Marshalls to find some.  He suggested I look on ebay, because I couldn't find a pair that I was willing to spend any moolah on.  Because of Miss Diva and her need to have whatever I own, I do not like investing a lot of money into my sunglasses, purses yes, sunglasses no.  So, yesterday we had to stop at the dollar store for a quick minuute and lo and behold I saw almost the exact same aviator shades I had been lusting after in Marshalls.  Guess what came home with me????? Yes, I am uber happy with them and I just love that price...$1.00!

Oh my, how I have neglected this blog, but I plan on changing that up.  We have had a wonderful Christmas and I have enjoyed this relaxing time with friends and family.  I'm spending some time checking out blogland and getting inspired.

Goals....

Well, one of my main goals in the next year is to get to 140 pounds. Yup, uh huh, I got a ways to go. I started off at 287 pounds oh so many years ago and made it to 242 as of the birth of my youngest daughter who is now 18 months old. Back in December Hubby and I decided to get serious about fitness again and started working out. Daily. But, food sometimes derailed me. I made it down to 215 pounds and a size 14 from a size 18. So, currently I am at 215 pounds and I am going into overdrive to get down to 198 pounds as my first big goal. It would be the first time in over a decade that I am below 200 pounds. So, Monday was my restart day and I am giving up the yucky stuff again and drinking oodles of water. I go to the gym a minimum of five times per week, but hubby and I are working to up that to daily. Even if the workout is doing something else at home or going out to try somethinge new.

So, today I thought, yes, I'm gonna be below 215, I just know it. Ummm.....no. Cause ye olde scale went KAPUT! Seriously messing with my mojo. So, now I have to go tonight and see if I can get a new battery for the scale. How do I get into goddess scale if I can't see where I am at? So, I will update soon.

Working out!

I am super proud of hubby. He has started his own business selling accessories and equipment for dogs. The collars we are finding are so nice. I can't wait to start showing the cute little foo-foo ones for girlie dogs that we will have. I can't wait to get my french bulldog! She is gonna be divaed out!!!!! CHEER TIME

Two of my girls will start cheer in the fall and baby girl will start in December with classes when she turns 2. I am super duper excited! But, with this economy and having two boys who are in sports as well I need to do some fundraising. So, I have decided to start making jewelry to sell again this summer and my goal is to raise enough money to cover six months of classes and their uniforms. So, I am working towards raising $1900 this summer for their cheer. The studio we have picked has some other awesome ways to raise money as well, so I will be using those once we sign up.
